Pretty Oud by Swiss Arabian is an unisex eau de parfum in the budget price tier. It opens with pineapple, blackcurrant, geranium and jasmine, moves into amberwood, ambergris, patchouli and rose and dries down to amber, sandalwood, cedarwood and oakmoss. Expect around 9 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

Pineapple Tangy, boozy and tropical. Loud and hard to hide.
Blackcurrant Tart, dark and slightly catty. Adds bite to florals.
Geranium Rosy and minty at once. Reads masculine more often than not.
Jasmine Heady, sweet and slightly animal underneath. Rarely subtle.

Heart

Amberwood Dry synthetic warmth, sharper than amber. Everywhere in modern masculines.
Ambergris Salty, animal, sun-warmed skin. Marine and musky at once.
Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
Rose Can be jammy, green, peppery or soapy depending on the type. Not one smell.

Dry-down

Amber Warm, golden and resinous. Not a real material — a blend that glows.
Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
Cedarwood Dry, pencil-shaving woodiness. Clean and structural.
Oakmoss Damp forest floor. Bitter, green and the backbone of every chypre.
