Hacivat
Hacivat by Nishane is an unisex extrait de parfum from 2017 in the luxury price tier. It opens with pineapple, grapefruit and bergamot, moves into patchouli and jasmine and dries down to cedarwood, oakmoss and musk. Expect around 10 hours of wear, and it projects very strongly.
Notes, explained
Opening
- Pineapple Tangy, boozy and tropical. Loud and hard to hide.
- Grapefruit Bitter, slightly sweaty citrus. More grown-up than lemon.
- Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
Heart
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
- Jasmine Heady, sweet and slightly animal underneath. Rarely subtle.
Dry-down
- Cedarwood Dry, pencil-shaving woodiness. Clean and structural.
- Oakmoss Damp forest floor. Bitter, green and the backbone of every chypre.
- Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
