Apaaray
Apaaray by Lake & Skye is an unisex eau de parfum in the premium price tier. It opens with lemon and fig, moves into iris, violet and musk and dries down to sandalwood, patchouli, oakmoss, cedarwood and amber. Expect around 6 hours of wear, and it projects softly.
Notes, explained
Opening
- Lemon Clean, sour, instantly recognisable. Bright but burns off fast.
- Fig Green, milky and jammy at once. One of the most interesting fruits in perfume.
Heart
- Iris Cool, powdery, slightly carroty and expensive. The luxury note.
- Violet Powdery, sweet and a bit retro. Parma Violets in flower form.
- Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
Dry-down
- Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
- Oakmoss Damp forest floor. Bitter, green and the backbone of every chypre.
- Cedarwood Dry, pencil-shaving woodiness. Clean and structural.
- Amber Warm, golden and resinous. Not a real material — a blend that glows.
