Irish Leather by Memo Paris is an unisex eau de parfum from 2014 in the luxury price tier. It opens with galbanum and mate, moves into leather, juniper berry and cardamom and dries down to tonka bean, musk and sandalwood. Expect around 9 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

- Galbanum Intensely green resin. Smells like snapping a plant stem in half.
- Mate Dry, smoky, bitter green tea. Toasted rather than fresh.

- Leather Smoky, dry and a bit animal. Can be a new jacket or an old saddle.
- Juniper Berry Gin, basically. Piney, dry and bracing.
- Cardamom Cool, aromatic spice with a eucalyptus lift. Smells expensive.
Dry-down
- Tonka Bean Almond, hay and vanilla in one. Warm and slightly nutty.
- Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
- Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
