Tony Iommi Monkey Special by Xerjoff is an unisex eau de parfum in the luxury price tier. Opening

• Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
• Geranium Rosy and minty at once. Reads masculine more often than not.
• Passionfruit Sharp, tropical and slightly sulphurous. Vivid and modern.
• Rum Boozy, sweet and warm. Adds a grown-up edge to gourmands.

Heart

• Cinnamon Sweet heat. Reads festive, sometimes to a fault.
• Leather Smoky, dry and a bit animal. Can be a new jacket or an old saddle.
• Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.

Dry-down

• Caramel Burnt sugar. Rich, sticky and unapologetically sweet.
• Labdanum Sticky, leathery resin. Dark honey and old books.
• Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
• Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
• Vanilla Sweet, creamy and warm. The most comforting note in perfumery.
