Richwood by Xerjoff is an unisex eau de parfum in the luxury price tier. It opens with bergamot, blackcurrant, grapefruit and mandarin, moves into geranium and rose and dries down to amber, coumarin, labdanum, musk, patchouli and vanilla. Expect around 10 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
Blackcurrant Tart, dark and slightly catty. Adds bite to florals.
Grapefruit Bitter, slightly sweaty citrus. More grown-up than lemon.
Mandarin Soft, sweet, almost powdery citrus. Gentler than orange.

Heart

Geranium Rosy and minty at once. Reads masculine more often than not.
Rose Can be jammy, green, peppery or soapy depending on the type. Not one smell.

Dry-down

Amber Warm, golden and resinous. Not a real material — a blend that glows.
Coumarin Hay, almond and vanilla in one molecule. The heart of every fougère.
Labdanum Sticky, leathery resin. Dark honey and old books.
Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
Vanilla Sweet, creamy and warm. The most comforting note in perfumery.
