Kirké Overdose by Tiziana Terenzi is an unisex extrait de parfum in the niche price tier. It opens with passionfruit, peach, raspberry and bulgarian rose, moves into lily of the valley, gardenia, blackcurrant and sambac jasmine and dries down to heliotrope, patchouli, sandalwood, bourbon vanilla, musk and ambergris. Opening
- Passionfruit Sharp, tropical and slightly sulphurous. Vivid and modern.
- Peach Fuzzy, warm and slightly creamy. Soft rather than sharp.
- Raspberry Tart, jammy and slightly fuzzy. Very popular in modern sweet scents.
- Bulgarian Rose Fresh, dewy and green. The 'real rose garden' version.
Heart
- Lily of the Valley Clean, green, dewy floral. Reads as 'fresh laundry' to most people.
- Gardenia Creamy white floral with a mushroomy edge. Lush and old-Hollywood.
- Blackcurrant Tart, dark and slightly catty. Adds bite to florals.
- Sambac Jasmine Greener, more tea-like jasmine. Less indolic than grandiflorum.
Dry-down
- Heliotrope Almond, vanilla and powder. Smells like marzipan and old-fashioned makeup.
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
- Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
- Bourbon Vanilla Richer, boozier vanilla. Darker than the standard version.
- Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
- Ambergris Salty, animal, sun-warmed skin. Marine and musky at once.
