Vixere by Electimuss is an unisex extrait de parfum in the luxury price tier. It opens with mandarin, bergamot, neroli, grapefruit and ylang-ylang, moves into violet, sambac jasmine, iris, gardenia and heliotrope and dries down to sandalwood, patchouli, musk, tonka bean, vanilla and amber. Expect around 10 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

Opening

Mandarin Soft, sweet, almost powdery citrus. Gentler than orange.
Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
Neroli Distilled orange blossom. Green, soapy and elegant.
Grapefruit Bitter, slightly sweaty citrus. More grown-up than lemon.
Ylang-Ylang Banana-custard floral. Rich, tropical and slightly rubbery.

Heart

Violet Powdery, sweet and a bit retro. Parma Violets in flower form.
Sambac Jasmine Greener, more tea-like jasmine. Less indolic than grandiflorum.
Iris Cool, powdery, slightly carroty and expensive. The luxury note.
Gardenia Creamy white floral with a mushroomy edge. Lush and old-Hollywood.
Heliotrope Almond, vanilla and powder. Smells like marzipan and old-fashioned makeup.

Dry-down

Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
Tonka Bean Almond, hay and vanilla in one. Warm and slightly nutty.
Vanilla Sweet, creamy and warm. The most comforting note in perfumery.
Amber Warm, golden and resinous. Not a real material — a blend that glows.
