Elysium Absolue
Elysium Absolue by Roja Parfums is an unisex parfum in the luxury price tier. It opens with fig, lychee, raspberry and blackcurrant, moves into rose, ylang-ylang, neroli and tuberose and dries down to pink pepper, patchouli, vetiver, orris butter, benzoin and sandalwood. Expect around 10 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

Opening
- Fig Green, milky and jammy at once. One of the most interesting fruits in perfume.
- Lychee Rosy, watery and delicate. Sweet without being heavy.
- Raspberry Tart, jammy and slightly fuzzy. Very popular in modern sweet scents.
- Blackcurrant Tart, dark and slightly catty. Adds bite to florals.
Heart
- Rose Can be jammy, green, peppery or soapy depending on the type. Not one smell.
- Ylang-Ylang Banana-custard floral. Rich, tropical and slightly rubbery.
- Neroli Distilled orange blossom. Green, soapy and elegant.
- Tuberose Creamy, waxy and enormous. The loudest white flower.
Dry-down
- Pink Pepper Fizzy, rosy and bright. Adds sparkle without heat.
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
- Vetiver Dry, earthy, smoky grass root. Smells like soil and citrus peel.
- Orris Butter The expensive form of iris. Cold, buttery, faintly carrot and violet.
- Benzoin Sweet balsamic resin. Vanilla-adjacent but drier.
- Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
