Elation by Navitus Parfums is an unisex eau de parfum in the niche price tier. It opens with bergamot, lime, clementine, pomelo, sweet orange and yuzu, moves into geranium, lavender, petitgrain, clary sage and juniper berry and dries down to oakmoss, patchouli, amberwood, nutmeg, musk and driftwood. Opening

Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
Lime Sharper and greener than lemon. Reads a bit tropical, a bit barbershop.
Clementine Small, sweet and a bit candied. Very easy to wear.
Pomelo Giant, mild grapefruit. Watery and refreshing.
Sweet Orange Juicy and cheerful. The friendliest citrus there is.
Yuzu Japanese citrus — like grapefruit and mandarin crossed. Crisp and clean.

Heart

Geranium Rosy and minty at once. Reads masculine more often than not.
Lavender Herbal, clean, slightly medicinal. Barbershop in one note.
Petitgrain Bitter twigs and leaves of the orange tree. Dry and a little green.
Clary Sage Softer, sweeter sage with an ambery undertone. Warm and herbal.
Juniper Berry Gin, basically. Piney, dry and bracing.

Dry-down

Oakmoss Damp forest floor. Bitter, green and the backbone of every chypre.
Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
Amberwood Dry synthetic warmth, sharper than amber. Everywhere in modern masculines.
Nutmeg Warm, woody and slightly sweet. Cosy without being gourmand.
Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
Driftwood Salt-bleached and dry. Wood that has been in the sea.
