PM
PM by Fragrance Du Bois is an unisex eau de parfum in the luxury price tier. It opens with tuberose, juniper berry, cardamom, lemon and white flowers, moves into patchouli, leather, cedarwood and orris root and dries down to labdanum, benzoin and amber. Expect around 9 hours of wear, and it projects at a moderate level.
Notes, explained
Opening
- Tuberose Creamy, waxy and enormous. The loudest white flower.
- Juniper Berry Gin, basically. Piney, dry and bracing.
- Cardamom Cool, aromatic spice with a eucalyptus lift. Smells expensive.
- Lemon Clean, sour, instantly recognisable. Bright but burns off fast.
- White Flowers A blend of creamy white petals rather than one named flower.
Heart
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
- Leather Smoky, dry and a bit animal. Can be a new jacket or an old saddle.
- Cedarwood Dry, pencil-shaving woodiness. Clean and structural.
- Orris Root Iris root aged for years. Buttery, powdery, unmistakably refined.
Dry-down
- Labdanum Sticky, leathery resin. Dark honey and old books.
- Benzoin Sweet balsamic resin. Vanilla-adjacent but drier.
- Amber Warm, golden and resinous. Not a real material — a blend that glows.
