Luna by Xerjoff is an unisex parfum in the luxury price tier. It opens with bergamot, lemon, mandarin and patchouli, moves into bulgarian rose, atlas cedar, sambac jasmine, orris root and violet and dries down to amber, caramel and musk. Expect around 10 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

Opening
- Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
- Lemon Clean, sour, instantly recognisable. Bright but burns off fast.
- Mandarin Soft, sweet, almost powdery citrus. Gentler than orange.
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
Heart
- Bulgarian Rose Fresh, dewy and green. The 'real rose garden' version.
- Atlas Cedar Smoother, resinous cedar. Warmer than the Virginia type.
- Sambac Jasmine Greener, more tea-like jasmine. Less indolic than grandiflorum.
- Orris Root Iris root aged for years. Buttery, powdery, unmistakably refined.
- Violet Powdery, sweet and a bit retro. Parma Violets in flower form.
Dry-down
- Amber Warm, golden and resinous. Not a real material — a blend that glows.
- Caramel Burnt sugar. Rich, sticky and unapologetically sweet.
- Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
