Maremma by Tiziana Terenzi is an unisex extrait de parfum in the niche price tier. It opens with bergamot, ylang-ylang, jasmine, blackcurrant and oakwood, moves into angelica, orris root, oud, lotus, cumin and honey and dries down to patchouli, cocoa, sandalwood, labdanum, amber and rosewood. - Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
- Ylang-Ylang Banana-custard floral. Rich, tropical and slightly rubbery.

- Blackcurrant Tart, dark and slightly catty. Adds bite to florals.
- Oakwood Dry, toasty barrel wood. Closer to a whisky cask than a forest.

- Orris Root Iris root aged for years. Buttery, powdery, unmistakably refined.
- Oud Resinous, medicinal, barnyard-adjacent wood. The most expensive note in perfumery.
- Lotus Pale, watery flower. Delicate and slightly powdery.
- Cumin Warm, spicy and unmistakably sweaty. Divides rooms.
- Honey Sweet, waxy and slightly animalic. Can smell dirty in large doses.
Dry-down
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
- Cocoa Dry, dusty chocolate. Bitter rather than sweet.
- Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
- Labdanum Sticky, leathery resin. Dark honey and old books.
- Amber Warm, golden and resinous. Not a real material — a blend that glows.
- Rosewood Soft, rosy wood. Gentle and slightly floral.
