Incense 01

Incense 01 by Swiss Arabian is an unisex eau de parfum in the budget price tier. It opens with frankincense, juniper berry, rum and bergamot, moves into fig, lily of the valley, almond and hazelnut and dries down to sandalwood, cedarwood, vanilla, chocolate, oakmoss and frankincense. Expect around 9 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

Opening

Frankincense Bright, peppery, church-like resin. Lifts and cools a fragrance.
Juniper Berry Gin, basically. Piney, dry and bracing.
Rum Boozy, sweet and warm. Adds a grown-up edge to gourmands.
Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.

Heart

Fig Green, milky and jammy at once. One of the most interesting fruits in perfume.
Lily of the Valley Clean, green, dewy floral. Reads as 'fresh laundry' to most people.
Almond Marzipan and cherry-stone. Sweet with a bitter undertone.
Hazelnut Roasted, buttery and nutty. Warm and dessert-like.

Dry-down

Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
Cedarwood Dry, pencil-shaving woodiness. Clean and structural.
Vanilla Sweet, creamy and warm. The most comforting note in perfumery.
Chocolate Sweet, dusty and rich. Can go milk-bar or dark-and-bitter.
Oakmoss Damp forest floor. Bitter, green and the backbone of every chypre.
Frankincense Bright, peppery, church-like resin. Lifts and cools a fragrance.
