Father Figure
Father Figure by Phlur is an unisex eau de parfum from 2023 in the designer price tier. It opens with water lily, fig and blackcurrant, moves into orris root, iris and jasmine and dries down to skin musk, vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood. Expect around 6 hours of wear, and it projects at a moderate level.

Opening
- Water Lily Watery floral. Soft, cool and slightly green.
- Fig Green, milky and jammy at once. One of the most interesting fruits in perfume.
- Blackcurrant Tart, dark and slightly catty. Adds bite to florals.
Heart
- Orris Root Iris root aged for years. Buttery, powdery, unmistakably refined.
- Iris Cool, powdery, slightly carroty and expensive. The luxury note.
- Jasmine Heady, sweet and slightly animal underneath. Rarely subtle.
Dry-down
- Skin Musk Warm and intimate. Sits close and reads as 'your skin, amplified'.
- Vanilla Sweet, creamy and warm. The most comforting note in perfumery.
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
- Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
