Vanilla Whip
Vanilla Whip by Pacifica is a feminine-leaning eau de parfum from 2026 in the budget price tier. It opens with sugar, almond and bergamot, moves into cyclamen, rose, iris and pink pepper and dries down to vanilla, amber, whipped cream, sandalwood and vetiver. Expect around 5 hours of wear, and it projects softly.
Notes, explained
Opening
- Sugar Plain sweetness. Usually there to round the edges off something else.
- Almond Marzipan and cherry-stone. Sweet with a bitter undertone.
- Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
Heart
- Cyclamen Watery, green and airy. Used to make florals feel light.
- Rose Can be jammy, green, peppery or soapy depending on the type. Not one smell.
- Iris Cool, powdery, slightly carroty and expensive. The luxury note.
- Pink Pepper Fizzy, rosy and bright. Adds sparkle without heat.
Dry-down
- Vanilla Sweet, creamy and warm. The most comforting note in perfumery.
- Amber Warm, golden and resinous. Not a real material — a blend that glows.
- Whipped Cream Airy, milky sweetness. Light rather than dense.
- Sandalwood Creamy, milky wood. Soft and almost edible.
- Vetiver Dry, earthy, smoky grass root. Smells like soil and citrus peel.
