Ta'weel
Ta'weel by Lattafa is an unisex eau de parfum in the budget price tier. It opens with bergamot, ginger, juniper berry and nutmeg, moves into orange blossom and lavender and dries down to vetiver, patchouli, leather and ambroxan. Expect around 8 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.
Notes, explained
Opening
- Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
- Ginger Warm, zesty and slightly soapy. Bridges citrus and spice.
- Juniper Berry Gin, basically. Piney, dry and bracing.
- Nutmeg Warm, woody and slightly sweet. Cosy without being gourmand.
Heart
- Orange Blossom Sweet, soapy and sunny. Neroli's warmer sibling.
- Lavender Herbal, clean, slightly medicinal. Barbershop in one note.
Dry-down
- Vetiver Dry, earthy, smoky grass root. Smells like soil and citrus peel.
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
- Leather Smoky, dry and a bit animal. Can be a new jacket or an old saddle.
- Ambroxan Clean, mineral, skin-like warmth. The engine behind most modern 'beast mode' scents.
Smells like this
- Dior Sauvage Eau Forte
- Masque Milano (Homage to) Hemingway
- Escentric Molecules Molecule 02
- Montblanc Explorer Platinum
- Parfums de Marly Valero
- Thameen Bold As Love
