Oud Mood
Oud Mood by Lattafa is an unisex eau de parfum from 2019 in the budget price tier. It opens with saffron and cardamom, moves into oud and damask rose and dries down to patchouli, amber and white musk. Expect around 10 hours of wear, and it projects very strongly.

Opening
- Saffron Leathery, medicinal and slightly metallic. The signature of modern niche.
- Cardamom Cool, aromatic spice with a eucalyptus lift. Smells expensive.
Heart
- Oud Resinous, medicinal, barnyard-adjacent wood. The most expensive note in perfumery.
- Damask Rose The rich, jammy, honeyed rose. Deep and slightly wine-like.
Dry-down
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
- Amber Warm, golden and resinous. Not a real material — a blend that glows.
- White Musk Clean, soft, laundry-like. The 'smells like nothing but better' note.
