Liquid Brun
Liquid Brun by French Avenue is a masculine-leaning eau de parfum from 2023 in the budget price tier. It opens with cinnamon, bergamot, cardamom and orange blossom, moves into bourbon vanilla and elemi and dries down to musk, praline, ambroxan and guaiac wood. Expect around 10 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

- Cinnamon Sweet heat. Reads festive, sometimes to a fault.
- Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
- Cardamom Cool, aromatic spice with a eucalyptus lift. Smells expensive.

- Bourbon Vanilla Richer, boozier vanilla. Darker than the standard version.
- Elemi Peppery resin with a lemon-pine lift. Bright and dry.

- Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
- Praline Caramelised nuts. Sweet, toasty and very moreish.
- Ambroxan Clean, mineral, skin-like warmth. The engine behind most modern 'beast mode' scents.
- Guaiac Wood Smoky, tarry and slightly sweet. Like a bonfire and roses.
