Night Flower
Night Flower by ERIS Parfums is an unisex eau de parfum in the niche price tier. It opens with bergamot, birch tar and cardamom, moves into suede, tuberose and cinnamon and dries down to patchouli, tonka bean and musk. Expect around 8 hours of wear, and it projects at a moderate level.
Notes, explained
Opening
- Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
- Birch Tar Smoked, tarry and campfire-like. The classic way to build leather.
- Cardamom Cool, aromatic spice with a eucalyptus lift. Smells expensive.
Heart
- Suede Soft, powdery leather. Much gentler than the real thing.
- Tuberose Creamy, waxy and enormous. The loudest white flower.
- Cinnamon Sweet heat. Reads festive, sometimes to a fault.
Dry-down
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
- Tonka Bean Almond, hay and vanilla in one. Warm and slightly nutty.
- Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
