Fleur de Peau by Diptyque is an unisex eau de parfum from 2018 in the premium price tier. It opens with pink pepper and aldehydes, moves into iris, orris root and ambrette seed and dries down to musk, leather and white musk. Expect around 8 hours of wear, and it projects at a moderate level.

- Pink Pepper Fizzy, rosy and bright. Adds sparkle without heat.
- Aldehydes Fizzy, soapy, slightly waxy. The 'sparkle' at the top of Chanel No. 5.
Heart
- Iris Cool, powdery, slightly carroty and expensive. The luxury note.
- Orris Root Iris root aged for years. Buttery, powdery, unmistakably refined.
- Ambrette Seed The only natural musk. Pear-like, warm and slightly boozy.
Dry-down
- Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
- Leather Smoky, dry and a bit animal. Can be a new jacket or an old saddle.
- White Musk Clean, soft, laundry-like. The 'smells like nothing but better' note.
