Absolu Aventus
Absolu Aventus by Creed is a masculine-leaning eau de parfum from 2025 in the luxury price tier. It opens with pineapple, blackcurrant, grapefruit, lemon, pink pepper and bergamot, moves into cardamom, cinnamon and ginger and dries down to vetiver and patchouli. Expect around 8 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

Opening
- Pineapple Tangy, boozy and tropical. Loud and hard to hide.
- Blackcurrant Tart, dark and slightly catty. Adds bite to florals.
- Grapefruit Bitter, slightly sweaty citrus. More grown-up than lemon.
- Lemon Clean, sour, instantly recognisable. Bright but burns off fast.
- Pink Pepper Fizzy, rosy and bright. Adds sparkle without heat.
- Bergamot Sharp citrus with a faint bitter edge. The opening of about half of all men's fragrances.
Heart
- Cardamom Cool, aromatic spice with a eucalyptus lift. Smells expensive.
- Cinnamon Sweet heat. Reads festive, sometimes to a fault.
- Ginger Warm, zesty and slightly soapy. Bridges citrus and spice.
Dry-down
- Vetiver Dry, earthy, smoky grass root. Smells like soil and citrus peel.
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
