Material by Amouage is an unisex eau de parfum in the luxury price tier. It opens with elemi and patchouli, moves into benzoin and vanilla and dries down to guaiac wood, osmanthus, oud, frankincense, labdanum and tonka bean. Expect around 10 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

Opening
- Elemi Peppery resin with a lemon-pine lift. Bright and dry.
- Patchouli Damp earth and dark chocolate. Either you love it or it's your least favourite note.
Heart
- Benzoin Sweet balsamic resin. Vanilla-adjacent but drier.

- Guaiac Wood Smoky, tarry and slightly sweet. Like a bonfire and roses.
- Osmanthus Apricot-and-leather floral. Unusual, warm and very wearable.
- Oud Resinous, medicinal, barnyard-adjacent wood. The most expensive note in perfumery.
- Frankincense Bright, peppery, church-like resin. Lifts and cools a fragrance.
- Labdanum Sticky, leathery resin. Dark honey and old books.
- Tonka Bean Almond, hay and vanilla in one. Warm and slightly nutty.
