Historic Doria by Afnan is an unisex eau de parfum in the budget price tier. It opens with orange blossom, lemon and raspberry, moves into tuberose, mandarin, jasmine and ambroxan and dries down to musk and sambac jasmine. Expect around 8 hours of wear, and it projects strongly.

- Orange Blossom Sweet, soapy and sunny. Neroli's warmer sibling.
- Lemon Clean, sour, instantly recognisable. Bright but burns off fast.
- Raspberry Tart, jammy and slightly fuzzy. Very popular in modern sweet scents.
Heart
- Tuberose Creamy, waxy and enormous. The loudest white flower.
- Mandarin Soft, sweet, almost powdery citrus. Gentler than orange.
- Jasmine Heady, sweet and slightly animal underneath. Rarely subtle.
- Ambroxan Clean, mineral, skin-like warmth. The engine behind most modern 'beast mode' scents.
Dry-down
- Musk Warm, skin-like and slightly sweet. Makes a fragrance feel like you.
- Sambac Jasmine Greener, more tea-like jasmine. Less indolic than grandiflorum.
