Collection rater
Rate your fragrance collection
Add the fragrances you own. We score how much of the year and the week they cover, how varied they are, and where two do the same job, then say what to add next. No sign-in.
How it is rated
- Covers the year (35%). The best fragrance you own for spring, summer, fall and winter, against the best 1% of the catalogue for each.
- Covers the week (35%). The same for school, work, the gym, everyday, a date, a night out and formal events.
- Variety of smells (15%). How many different note families the collection leans on, and whether one family swamps it.
- Each bottle does its own job (15%). Pairs of bottles that share at least 50% of their notes count against it.
A season or setting is called a gap when the best fragrance you own reaches under 85% of the best-1% mark for it. The suggestions for your biggest gaps are among the best the catalogue has for that moment, one per house, and never something you already own.
What this does not do
It rates composition, not taste. It does not know whether you like a fragrance, and it ignores reviews, hype and price: a budget bottle and a luxury one with the same notes score the same.
